Sea Turtles.

Would you hire somebody whose website tagline says “Sea Turtles”?

Probably not.

But I’m going to assume you have impeccable taste when it comes to hiring people, and you’re probably ridiculously good looking too, so I’ll take my chances and assume you’ll keep reading.

You may also be wondering why there’s a photo of me in a Japanese ramen shop on a professional portfolio website. I could tell you it’s about demonstrating my appreciation for culture, travel, and new experiences.

It’s actually because I thought it made me look mysterious.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I enjoy working with people, solving problems, and finding practical ways to make things work better. I put my clients’ needs first and take pride in figuring out what they actually need, not just what they initially ask for.

With 10+ years of experience across finance, account management, and customer success, I’ve developed a broad perspective that helps me look at problems from different angles, break complicated things into manageable pieces, and find practical solutions.

Over the years, I’ve also developed the less tangible skills that come with experience: communicating with different kinds of people, staying calm when things get complicated, taking ownership, and knowing when to bring in the right person to get the job done.

I’m looking forward to working with you.

And yes, the sea turtles are staying.

But if you want the formal version, email me at marbrrameda@gmail.com and I’ll send over my CV.

Or, you can visit my links below, which may or may not have mentions of sea turtles.
